Pleno V Deadman HU for calendar spot imo

This would be a good hu match.

I'd rail it.

Would you offer prices?

you would have to back Pleno h/u as thats one of his specialities but would always choose Simon to play a live tourney if your life depended on it as he is better in live tournies.

Pleno might specialize in HU, but Deadman specializes in winning flips

I think Simon would agree pleno is a decent fav in a hu online match. Live might be a little closer.

A year live mirror schedule propbet would be absolutely unreal. Pleno must be a dog but I'd hate to offer him odds!

They have a tournament like that at the PCA

They call it battleships.

to be fair, I think its a good time to STOP the calendar.

If you aren't doing repeats, apart from LilDave, then it just starts getting silly.

Maybe thats why you put Simon Deadman in instead of titty, woodsey and other guys with 5k+ posts.

But whatever, Happy Christmas.

Thank fuck you're not in charge then!!

Seriously what is the problem? So many people have made themselves look like idiots in this thread over something so trivial.

I've always respected most of what Mantis writes. He says some sensible stuff quite regularly. This whole calender thing has really bought him down in my estimation. Whether it's intentional or not it just comes across as a load of pointless trolling and deliberately trying to stick a spanner in the works.

Pleno appears bitterly disappointed at not being selected whilst Simon has. Again I don't know if it's intentional but he's coming across as a spoiled little kid with an ego problem who's spat his dummy out because he didn't get a mention.

Mr Keys...... What can I say? I love the man and he knows this. We've had some fun times. Please mate, stop all this bickering with Mantis. You're not doing yourself any favours at all. If you ignore him he'll go away.

Lil Dave. Fucking love him.

Titbean. Ditto.

Tighty. Feel so sorry for you about all this bollocks. Please for the sake of the masses do this again next year. By not doing it you give in and let the idiots win. I think there's about 5 people who genuinely seem to want the advent calender to disappear or be run differently. Blonde will be a worse place if they get their own way.

lol at this thread now. All the things wrong with the starting of this thread and now you bunch of kids are wagering on a heads up grudge match which quite obviously won't happen.

CTS was visiting Magicninja in Montreal and we played some battleship-style (facing each other with laptops) heads-up while drinking (and cole was also playing Gus simultaneously at 2k/4k and 3-handed with Tom Dwan and Ivey at 300/600 plo lol).

We also had a bounty on 27, 38, 49, and 5T. If you won a pot with any of those and showed your opponent had to open-jam the next hand preflop and u get to choose whether u want to call or not.

I'm not sure if this was the original battleship thread, but its the first time i encountered it, and the thread is worth a read! Some posts in it are cool, from CTS but a lot of dross and pictures of giraffes and stuff.
