Pob Lwc thumbs up

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Guess it must be due to the lack of the EPT label this year?

Wierd it isn't so popular, I played an ECPT (what?!) event there a few years ago.  Was a good trip/cardroom and flights to Salzburg were reasonably cheap.  The snow was melting when we were there (April?), so December should be more of a draw.

Good luck Toby, a trophy is a trophy.

Nothing much wrong with the hotel either.

Got a spa for the missus and kids play area too.

Should have a Blonde trip there next year if it is still on.

Toby finished 3rd

KK in the small blind slap bang into AA in the big

The second placed finisher won into the event by playing an online sat on his mobile whilst watching Skyfall at the Movies.

It's not part of a tour and I think they announced it kinda late, so I guess that affected numbers. Still, nice score!

Apparently he has won entry into Deauville while out for dinner with his girlfriend. Girlfriend quoted as saying "it was lovely, he spoke to me during the sync breaks and even used his time bank to ask how my food was. He's a real romantic"
