I'm taking my family out for a days racing at lingfield tomorrow as an early christmas present.  We all like a little bet, and I hope it's going to be a successful day, the only problem being that none of us are really that clued up on horse racing.   It'l be fun whatever happens, but i'm still hoping we can make a couple of quid. None of us are really that clued up on horse racing, even though we like a bet.  Thats where you helpful guys come in (hopefully).  If anyone would like to post up some fancies for tomorrow then they would be very much appreciated.

Anaconda, 1.55 Lingield. All the 9-2 has gone though Sad

enjoy

card gets better throughout

1.20 the old speedball BILLY RED might just hang on here from the front would want 6-1 minimum

2.25 TINSHU is rock solid around here and looks a solid eway bet at 9-2+

3.00 open race ROYAL PECULIAR might improve again for the excellent yard i doubt will be the overnight 12-1 tommorow

3.35 awful race to finish TALLEVU  is a dog but ran well for new yard last time vaguely interesting kingscote bothers to ride it (rode it for old yard) should be double figures

enjoy the day

Paul Smith has done most of the card for the Racing Post and that guy knows his all-weather filth. Stick with his tips and you won't go too far wrong.

Got on emerald wilderness late last night at 20/1  e/w with 1/4 odds. Also backed Anaconda but only got 11/4.  I saw it opened up at 5/1 too on 365, now best priced 2/1!  finally backed Tinshu too, i know, 2 horses in the same race, but i asked for info so im guna back them all Smiley.  The rest i'l do at the track, might miss some good prices but want to get the full experience.

Will update later with (hopefully) stories of success.

Any thoughts on the first btw? Lump on Yaroom for get the meeting off to a winning start, or are there any better bets in the opener?

Prefer the Alan Bailey horse in the first. Could be real classy 2 yo. Ignore his last run ground was tez. See what he looks like in the paddock then have a bet.  Gl

Not the best start, but despite the betting and the rain (which has finally stopped) its been a great day.  Anaconda in the next is now best priced 5/4! Chompy has given me the value, now can we turn it into a winner?

Last race winner hit sugar was smashed in from 33/1 to 12/1, looked good in the paddock but no form.  Ofcourse obliges with a nice win, shame none of our money was on that gamble!

Just got back home.  Had a great day out.  The only horse mentioned here that I didn't bet was Ofcourse royal peculiar! My dad got on it though Smiley

Would recommend it as a day out to anyone.  Thanks for all the info guys, really appreciate it.  Great sweat with emerald wilderness.  Went like a rocket at the end, still a decent profit on him for the place part.

Got close with anaconda, my brother picked the winner in that race the fker lol.

Off out got a few drinks tonight, would hae tasted better with a little more luck, but I'm sure they will still go down just fine Smiley
