Stars poker app

I downloaded the Pokerstars mobile app a couple of days ago and it worked fine. Today it updated and a new app replaced the old one.

The new app says PokerStarsCOM and seems the same except that when I go to the cashier I just get a black screen.

I've tried switching it off and on and everything.

Any ideas?

Come to think of it, I don't know if I ever could see the cashier page.

Think you can see account status but not the cashier, maybe wrong as I am not a frequent user of the app.

Yes. That seems to be the case.

I assumed that because there's a cashier button, I would be able to deposit from my mobile.

I emailed Stars and they replied within 5 minutes (Aren't they wonderful?) They gave me instructions, I will report back.

Please, because a few weeks ago I found myself away from home and wanting to deposit, navigated around the site to no joy. I ended up getting a friend to transfer me a few dollars, that is always an option.

The Web Cashier allows you to manage your bankroll and make real money deposits
into your PokerStars account direct from your mobile device.

You can access it by using the following link:

To use the Web Cashier, follow these easy steps for your chosen device. You will
need to have logged into the PokerStars Mobile poker app at least once before
you can use the Web Cashier.

Android Devices:

1. Players with Android devices can access the Web Cashier via the PokerStars
Mobile poker app.
2. Log-in to the poker app using your regular PokerStars ID and password.
3. On the Home Page, a 'Cashier' button has been added, alternatively you can go
to the ‘More’ menu and click ‘Cashier’.
4. If this is the first time you have ever deposited into your PokerStars
account, you will need to fill in the ‘Advanced Profile Form’ provided.
5. You will then need to log-in to the Web Cashier, using your existing
PokerStars ID and password.
6. The first time you log-in, you will be given the option to either answer a
security question, or request for a validation code to be sent to your
registered e-mail address.
7. Once validated you can use your mobile device to make deposits using any of
the available payment options.

iOS Devices:

1. For security reasons, if this is the first time you have ever deposited into
your PokerStars account, you will need to complete your deposit using the
PokerStars desktop software. Please note that you will need to use a desktop PC
or laptop to complete this process. You can download the desktop software from:

2. If you have already made a deposit into your PokerStars account, you can log
in to the Web Cashier with your regular PokerStars ID and password, using this
link:

Make sure you bookmark it for easy access next time, or you can even create a
shortcut to the page from your home screen.

3. The first time you log-in, you will be asked to validate your mobile device.
To do this, you can request for a validation code to be sent to your registered
e-mail address.

4. Once validated you can use your mobile device to make deposits using any of
the available payment options.

When I go through the app I can't access the cashier. I have to visit the cashier separately from the link in the email link via my browser.

A bit cumbersome, but hopefully I won't need it too often.

When at the table you click "menu" then "tournament info".

If this doesn't give you your position in the tourney then nothing will.

It doesn't give you your position as far as I can see, but it does give you largest smallest and average stack sizes.

It's a stunningly beautiful piece of software. I'm quite take with it.

Nah deffo doesn't, tells u most other stuff but not that.....
