Hey to all.

My name is Lex and I have been a professional SNG player for the last 3 years. I currently play SNG's on Pokerstars under the name BALOTELLI9O.

I am looking to expand my real world contact base. Well by expand I mean start! All my poker contacts are online as I have only really played live a handful of times, and only a couple of times at Dusk Till Dawn. The standard was not great, probably par for the course in low stakes live MTT's, so I haven't really come across anyone who plays the game other than for fun, or as a hobby.

Anyone playing professionally or on a semi serious level in the Nottingham area?

Cheers guys.

Lex

Read the forum a bit?

(Edit: I suppose I should be more helpful. Read http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=51305.0 , 800+ pages, everybody who has ever played poker in Nottingham makes an appearance at some point)

Lots of DTD regulars post on here sir

Stick around, look around and you'll soon learn which posters are DTD players

This thread for example talks about whats on at DTD each week http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=58083.0

DTD and blonde go back a long way, since before DTD opened eg...http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=3985.0

Haha!

No way:D

I had seen the text from the Mourinho interview but never the actual interview, so funny!

I always had a lot of success on the Euro networks with caps lock Italian usernames. Everyone seemed to think I was terrible and got really tilted when I won pots! A particular favourite was WANKERINO. It really seemed to send people over the edge!

I'm from Nottingham mate. I live with a few guys who all play professionally, mainly online, but I play at DTD on friday and saturdays and anytime there's a decent tournament at DTD we all play it. There's loads of pros about in nottingham actually. Yeh my diary was linked in the first reply in this thread by Skippy, no need to wade through it though!

Nice one!

To be honest thats the kind of thing I have been looking for. Apart from online contacts (and the are a fair few of those!) I have never actually met anyone who plays poker. Apart from Devilfish. Saw him at a bar in The Lace Market a few weeks back. Really nice guy! I am not too sure he was as too impressed with my SNG exploits though!

For some reason I can't send private messages. Maybe because I am a forum noob or something?

Would be interesting to chat further though. I have some ideas brewing for 2013 and one or two things that may be of interest to any fellow SNG professionals.

Chalk and cheese between here and 2+2, just can't compare it. Welcome to the forum. Not from nottingam but chances are if you get involved we'll have a beer at some point. Welcome!
