Gala 50/1 we've just lost a big one with QQ vs KK pre, made a set but didn't win, no biggie but we're currently stuck £125 and probably look a little steamed.

Table is pretty standard, and there's one guy who's bought in for over the max but no-one has said anything because he looks "new to the game"

Anyway, we're OTB with  and facing 3 limpers, we cover all villains.

Make it £8, Villain who has £120 behind peels out of bb, rest of limpers call. Should be noted villain gives me no respect due to past hands we've played and is currently in the hole for ~£250.

Flop (£40.50)

Villain donks for £15, rest fold, we call.

Turn (£70.50)

He checks, we £26. He calls (Should I just check?)

River (£122.50)

He checks, you?

Completely agree with this.

Looking at the recent hands you (OP I mean) have posted you seem to be a little unnerved when facing donk bets, and this perhaps leads to you playing overly passively in these situations. This might be something for you to be aware of, and examine in your game.

No I meant that between you and TL you'd covered all the angles.

Fair assumption though, I am being sarcastic most of the time.

Edit: just reread, not clear at all what I meant!

I would say it's an issue with my game, though I don't really have anyone I can discuss it with besides on here. I don't really speak to anyone about strategy just because of the people I play with are usually degenning on roulette or whatever Smiley

Cheers TL btw, helped in all 3 threads.

Ok so it's results time. Highlight for the outcome.

We jammed, he called with 34o

raise/call otf everytime, lots of FE and you have terrific equity now, don't waste it you might not have it OTT.

I don't expect him to raise if I make it £50 on the flop, I honestly expect him to peel 99%.

edit: though I guess I just jam the turn like TL said if he does that.

Can't see results in any of the three hands you posted. I highlighted the post but just see a little line...

Just keep the general rule for poker - when you have a really good hand raise, and then go from there Smiley

I can't add anything to this thread that hasn't already been written, but I would like to underline everything.

I must admit I seem to having problems facing donk bets not so much in cash but live tourneys . Ukipt Bristol being a prime example. I really try to control the size of the pot early on and these fkn donk bets are my nemesis. Using OPs hand here as an example what range of hands would you put opponent on and if you we're 100 bb deep in a tourney what is your plan?
