iPhone 5. Can't delete stuff

The wife just got an iPhone 5 and has plugged it into our lap top. On her phone she now has all her own stuff but also my pics and apps and all my sons I tunes music. For some reason she can't delete it off her phone and its causing the memory to fill up. She has just had to upgrade iCloud for more memory at a cost of £10 but this can only be a short term solution.

There is no delete or bin when you try to delete the music or pics.

You have to do it from iTunes Jase. From there you can choose what gets put on the phone.

Ok thanks Andrew. When I got her the phone I thought this iCloud stuff was really clever.  Within minutes the software had set up her phone with all the old stuff on it including passwords and even screen savers.

She will have to sort it on the lappy then

No probs. The iCloud is handy for certain things like keeping contact lists but I'd rather just back up to my pc.

yes but my wife claims I turn her off more than on

the photos she can't delete are my ones that have downloaded from the laptop. There is no edit button or delete.

The music most probably ain't from iTunes because its all drum and bass stuff and there is loads of it which he won't have purchased
