Omg the day has come to go to villa park with a 3-1 lead! if we play well and score a goal i think we will be ok!
Never been so nervous 6 hours before a game before!
Picked up Girgy at 3pm and taking him to his 1st away game every!
What a time to make it your 1st game with 6500 city fans screaming for it!!
Time to use my 1 and only
1 motherfucking time I think

Dont leave anything "bradford" in your car - the area around Villa park is v rough - if you have Bradford on your car - park well away and get a cab in!

Very very rarely substantive trouble outside villa park on match days but I wouldn't display any Bradford stuff nearby. That's good advice generally for away days, though. Nevertheless, Witton isn't the most romantic part of Birmingham. |

LOL Get it anywhere. You'd be a mug to leave your car as an away fan near a ground and display your allegiance. A few years back, I took two american lads from uni to watch a spurs game. It was Spurs v Sunderland (under MacCarthy) so we were expecting a win. These lads had never seen a soccer match before so it promised to be fun. Anyway, it's cold so we all have jumpers/coats on. Train down from Cambridge. All good. Quick taxi from Tottenham Hale and we're right by the ground. I undo my top to reveal my spurs shirt. Yank #1 reveals his England shirt (smart boy). Yank #2 has... ...a Newcastle shirt.  When questioned (politely), he delivered the immortal "It's all football, isn't it?" All I could say was "They'll kill you" When we turned a corner and he saw the fans skirmishing with police on horses keeping them apart, he zipped up his top and began to accept my word. We won 4-1 so all good Phew! |
