How bad would "regs" be at cash games <1-2, 2-4   (or NL 200 & 400)

wouldnt make as much difference as you think, because no-one wuold have them.

The "naturally" better players would gain a bit more of a advantage i imagine.

Most players fundamentals are pretty strong these days even at <200nl, so i doubt they would fall to pieces. I guess alot of players hourly would drop though for a while due to being able to play less tables. I honestly think some of the weaker regs at these limits are more exploitable with their HUDs if you target them well and abuse their obvious perceptions of your game.

I feel like if game selection software were banned along with HUDs the games would be a fair bit healthier. I imagine it's pretty hard to do though.

I don't think you're going to see regs crash and burn or anything, I just think it's going to be harder for them to select games and likely put them more on the conservative side without strong reads.

There's no reason they couldn't literally do a pen and paper tally chart of how often someone 3 bets or whatever stat they are after though. The preflop stats would be easiest to track manually.
