Coming to the break after 14 levels
71 remain
There is one stack over 400,000 and that is Anthony Cartwright. I can't photograph him as he has his back to me on the second tier, and the other side of the table is filled with the detritus od 10 hours worth of food, drink and cutlery and I don't want to knock it all overa
blinds go 2000-4000 next
Two levels to play
Of familiar names
Alli Mallu and Chinese Frankie are side by side. Mallu over 300,000 Frankie's stack has been steady to slightly down in the last couple of hours at 140,000
Tom Kugelstadt has been up there all day and remain so, his chiselled features hunkering over his stack and playing consistently
David Nicholson is struggling a bit, has 3-bet fold twice in this level while I was hanging around hoping for action

I hope they get you in the commentary booth tomorrow Herbie or at least doing the updating during the Monte Carlo
lol. I'm an aquired taste mate. Went in the booth to leave tighty a drink last time I cashed and he shit himself thinking I was there to commentate. The look on his face was priceless
Not sure of Ollsens alias Ralph but will ask him.

It was sheer panic.
He's bad enough when he has time to consider what he might post. Can you imagine live commentary from Mr Foot in Mouth?
Shudder

Just realised I actually know two Matt Harris's who play poker, and he is neither of them
This one won a raffle in his local pub, first prize DTD Deepstack buy in.
Might be something worth trying next month mate?
wish i knew this before jamming

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

There's a 600,000 stack from 1b
1c?
We'll find out about 2.30am
Stay tuned.

Marcin Milde doubles through Adrian Reynolds
Milde, down to a short-stack shoves K-Q
Reynolds calls o-t-b with A-Q
6-J-9-K-6 for Marcin

Paul Danko doubles through Duncan McLellan
A-A versus K-Q on Q-J-9-Brick-brick
He's up over 120,000
McLellan has really dusted off a stack since the break, currently down to 1.5x bb and talking a comeback....
