I don't normally play turbos and it appears people let their stacks get shorter before shoving...I don't know if this is a fair assumption??

Anyway couple of scenarios I found myself in, that are pretty simple in a normal/deep tourney but found a little strange in this one.

Hand 1

I'm about 17/55/2716

Poker Stars $4.00+$0.40 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t7000/t14000 Blinds + t1750 - 8 players - View hand 2089889

UTG+1: t148246       M = 4.24
MP1: t125992       M = 3.60
MP2: t103255       M = 2.95
CO: t99978       M = 2.86
BTN: t162662       M = 4.65
Hero (SB): t129496       M = 3.70
BB: t158807       M = 4.54
UTG: t92293       M = 2.64

Pre Flop: (t35000) Hero is SB with
UTG raises to t33000, 5 folds,

This is screaming monster hand to me. Action?

EDIT: Villain PFR/VPIP is 6/6 (although tbh sample is only ridic small 15 hands)

Hand 2

Now sitting 14/29:

Poker Stars $4.00+$0.40 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t10000/t20000 Blinds + t2500 - 8 players - View hand 2089896

CO: t296992       M = 5.94
BTN: t444876       M = 8.90
SB: t73978       M = 1.48
BB: t188662       M = 3.77
Hero (UTG): t212661       M = 4.25
UTG+1: t138807       M = 2.78
MP1: t251875       M = 5.04
MP2: t139034       M = 2.78

Pre Flop: (t50000) Hero is UTG with

Shove or fold?

* I actually realise now after this that my was 4.25 - and bottom of my shoving range is usually AQ - so thinking I may have made a mistake with this one. Thoughts?

H1: sometimes people min raise out of tiny stacks all their range that they are jamming trying to look stronger than they are, and TT is huge with these stack sizes. Sometimes they have it unfortunately. Get it in.

: Shove with this hand and 10bb.

Yeah #1 you run into it sometimes but never folding. Hand #2 is an easy shove.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.
