How about this one:

A famous poker player has got a suite in the Metropole near the Vic during the EPT London.

Get's pissed, goes back to his room with 20k in his pocket, puts behind the mini bar for safe keeping because he's off to strip club.

Forgets about it obviously.

Fast forward a year.

In a similar situation, got another 10k in his pocket where would be a good place to hide it? Behind his mini bar in his suite obviously.

Bingo, he finds the 20k he left there the year before!
