I can't get my head round 3 bullets.

Is that a Marcus quote?

This isn't the Oscar Pistorius joke thread, Jason.

When you are asking for other peoples money, my advice would be drop the attitude.  It may not be your intention, and is easy to do online, but the way you write sometimes comes across as a bit aggro.  Even when people may post negative comments, you still need to act professional.

No offence intended here, but auctions are probably more suited to players who are gonna likely be in high demand for action/have a long track record on blonde.  Alex/Brammer/Keys/Camel could easily use this format and get tonnes of bids because of their reputation in the community.

My advice would have been to go for a standard thread for this kind of stake at a mark up that you felt right.  Tonnes of people on here love a sweat, but they don't like having to wait to find out if they have the big in place.  They like to secure the piece and ship the money and forget about it.

Also I remember talking to you about your deal in person and you said it wasn't that great.  A 75/25 with no make up is pretty incred IMO and should be treated as such.

Thanks for your comments Ryan just same old ppl trolling on here is kinda annoying rather than them taking the piss out of me they could just explain there thoughts just like u have and I appreciate u taking time to write this......but if ppl have bad words to say about me or my poker ability maybe they should say things straight up rather than take ridiculous digs.  I have no attitude as u know me in person whereas many of these ppl don't .

The old 10pc at 0.1 joke is something that I've seen on all kinds of staking threads on blonde tbh so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

I know that online its very easy to type stuff quite innocently that comes across wrong, done it dozens of times myself.  Now whenever I post something, especially when its something I don't agree with/am wound up by, I always take a couple of minutes before I hit submit just to re-read everything a couple of times.  It really helps you think clearer.

Good luck and prob see you at the Vic during GUKPT week?

ok kewl

ridic attitude....

VIOLENTLY SHIT THREAD.

I mean fuck me it's so awful I have kept checking back FOR THE COMEDY.

Who are you, why do you want staking, why are you worth staking especially at a markup that people are going to be bidding on...

WHAT IS AN AUCTION, you seem to have no clue. How is the auction working, when does it end, how will people pay. Who can vouch for you.

You have an absolutely ridic backing deal yet don't know it's ridic, so obv are prob massive expectation hence everyones clammering to bid up the price.

You should have got some of your 'pals' to set up the thread for you this is utterly awful. I'm utterly surprised at any >1.0 bids, I am assuming those people know you in real life and have dealt with you before so haven't got all the obvious questions like who the fk is this punter.

You are asking for £2100+reg from the good people of blonde. Its a lot of dough and needs an op to reflect the seriousness of the proposal.

Fuck my backer who is a mug I want more than 25%

You are asking for more money than most of your lifetime cashes.

You need to at least use a bit of Vaseline to ensure that we enjoy the experience too

It is more than £2100, he wanted a decent mark up here, that is why he auctioned it, so would have been been £2800 with a 'regular' mark-up.

Some people have been a bit harsh, but should have handled better, imo.

Auction should have never been proposed and should have sold at no mark up, imo.

I am also unsure how it works, because is it RE?

Jason

My twopenneth (and I know you)

An auction is not necessarily the best way to sell on blonde as your OP says. It certainly needs a heftier proposal than yours is, with figures nailed down and an awareness way beyond yours is of what the process involves and how much transparency is needed

All that info is readily available on blonde staking proposals with a bit of research, and then ask the questions privately before having to conduct this educational process in public, while you are asking people for staking.

If everyone could debate reasonably, advise sensibly and not flame, call people out etc that would be great, ty. That includes you Mr Clarke!

Think it pisses a few ppl off that on multiple occassions you've put up staking threads were you've seemed to put very little effort into your op.

For instance this thread, your op is missing so much std info, you said you don't rly know how auctions work, why you would then create one I've no idea but as you still have surely you could've took the time to check and copy Keys' template that he put up in great detail, I'm pretty certain you didn't even look at it. Yes auctions are a little complicated but you've done this in the past with much easier staking templates that are a lot easier to copy.
