Intro

For those who don't know me my name is Grant Cook, and have been a member of blonde for a number of years, and have been involved in a number of backing deals with members, so i'm sure a bunch of posters can vouch for my trustworthiness.

The proposal

I have recently moved over to Norway with my gf and currently playing full time. I am looking for backing for small - midstakes mtt's to go along with my regular smaller games. This is needed due to the fact that I will be travelling the world in August, and i am having to withdraw chunks of my bankroll to finance this.

Games

Below are a list of proposed tourneys. (I wont play all of them every day I play, but can commit to playing 150+ a month. Probably more than this though)

I have went for mostly well structured tournaments, but also included a few of the 'hot' turbos on stars.

stars

$81r1a 10k
hot $16.5
big $22
$11 1r1a 5k
$22 12k
big 11 60k
hot 11 $25k

tilt

$11 4.5k superstack
$10 1r1a 7.5k
$26 8k
$26 16k
$26 12.5k
$11 6k superstack

party

$22 6k
$22 3k
$22 10k

Stats

Below are links to my stats

http://www.officialpokerrankings.com/fulltiltpoker/PAYMYLOANS/poker/ratings/EBE7791DFDFD4F08BEBD92F2491BB3CD.html?t=3 (note that i had to open a new account post relaunch, which is -$700 or so. Not massive volume there yet though)

My stars overall stats on stars are not great due to $100+ mtts which I didnt' play a big sample in and it didn't go my way, but i have a good roi in the games i am looking for backing in.

I have used opr to breakdown my stats for the $10-$40 level, as i feel this is more accurate for what you will be investing in.

Stars

buyin level   cashes       P/L              ROI

$10 - $20    $3,418    -$1,572     -46%
$20 - $40    $19,961   +$9,830       97%

Tilt
(old)
$10 - $20    $8,134   +$5,754    242%
$20 - $40    $23,737   +$5,888    33%
(new)
$10 - $20    $592       +$94    19%
$20 - $40    $447        -$245    -55%

Party

$10 - $20    $663       $399         151%
$20 - $40    $3,485   $2,706   347%

Total Cashes  $60,437,  Total Profit $22,854, ROI 38%

------------------------------------------------

I am looking for one of two things.

1. one sole investor to take all action on a 50/50 deal

2.  Sell pieces to investors on here

If this was the case I would request for a $2500 starting bankroll on a 50/50 profit sharing deal. Profits would be paid out on the 20th of every month. There would be an initial tie in period of 3 months.

10% would be $250.

If this is the route it goes down I shall put faith in my own play and take the first 20%.

Please post any interest on this thread or via PM.

Yeah the wages are high, but higher tax also. Im really looking to make a go of poker, and especially as i will be travelling in August, so not looking to start a job in the meantime. I worked for Barclays capital/wealth for 2.5 years finishing in December just before we moved over here, so it is quite a refreshing change not going through all the corporate bullshit for a while Smiley

lol not very long if i didn't cash in any comp Smiley

from that portfolio of comps average buyin is $20 when adding them all up and / by the tot amount of comps, so we got around 125 buyins.

I have tried to adding some comp that arent massive variance, like the $11 superstacks,$11 1r1a, $26 8k on tilt, the 3 & 6k on party & $11 1r1a on stars.

I am confident that in my ability at these stakes, and feel I have put together a good Portfolio of comps to maximize return, whilst still not having redic variance.

Something not right here. Should this be total buy ins and total profit?

Yeah you are right

total buyins the are $ 37,583 tot profit  $22,854 (tot cash = $60,437)

total roi = 60%

that looks correct now
