A few of the bigger stacks before they all wander off (apart from Barney Boatman whom you all know about already):

Erik Franssohn    34,600
Don Protz          36,000
Simon Young     30,000

Xuyem Pham is now on around 30k.

She decided to gamble by calling a preflop raise with 6-8 on the big blind.

The flop of 6-8-8 made it a worthwhile risk.

The Scottish challenge has just arrived at the casino to take vengeance for Viking raids on our shores a couple of millenia ago.  (We bear a grudge for a while)

The hotel has free internet access which will ease the pain of the likely £50 a pint.

Any minute now and we're off to scavenge some food - hopefully mingling with the players for some stories, but if not, food will still be found, stories later.  Bear with us and we'll recommence in an hour.

Gus was being interviewed by the Danish media. I crept up behind the cameraman and managed to pick up a few comments.

Apparantly, he held  and moved all-in.

He was called by  .

The flop came  three clubs.

Turn =

River =

Mateyboy eliminates Gus with a straight.

Phew. Thank goodness my Danish was up to scratch.

Very Nice Danish not as good as pies though

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

If it is £50 for a pint of beer in Denmark, how much is it for a bottle of Cristal Rose?

I've just returned from the buffet.

I had:

sweet and sour chicken
Rice with prawns in
Potatos
Ham
Beef
Some more ham (darked this time)
More rice (but with peas and asparagus in)
Cheesecake

I also went up for seconds. I'm determined to grow into this XL Blondepoker shirt that tikay gave me.

Watch this space for further food updates.
