Going to LA for LAPC 2moro and then SF for shooting stars WPT.
Always wired $ before but its too late now and i've got cash $ here. Its more than 10k so needs to be declared.....
Advice on whether their going to kick up a massive fuss over it?
I was also going to print out the event poster that I was going to play for some sort of verification...

They shouldn't but remember to include the $ value of any £ you take as they got a bit arsey at McCarran about the £'s I had along with my Dollars.

u could always declare it? Never done so but think it only adds an extra 20 mins or so to your journey while u show em the cash and fill in forms as to what you're doing. Give 10k to the bloke next to u on the plane to take through? Take someone solely to carry another 10k? Make sure u have a night out in San Jose, fun town

Best to declare it plus maybe bank withdrawal slip as proof ,they got me last year with more n nearly took it off me ! I got a dressing down and was told to always declare it ! Or else blah blah blah

bank statement + declaration + allowance for a little delay = easy.
if you don't declare and actually do some run bad, then it'll be tonnes of hassle and potentially rubber glove treatment.

Declare it and be honest. I got stopped this side with $30k and advised of the limit so just gave $10k to wife & mum each and still got a bollocking and forms to fill in when landed.

Declare it and just tell them that you are holiday and are going to play in some poker tournaments. Your idea of printing details is not a bad one and may be useful. You will not get any aggro doing this and it is not worth the risk not to.
