i thought it was an interesting spot. we fold and still have like 220 bb's and a great structure against a reasonably weak field. this spot looked marginal at best to me.

What do we beat that he plays like that?

Gonna end up being a total idiot with a flush more often then someone playing 108 / 44 this way.

I disagree that its going to be a flush alot more often than T8/44.

Lead flop though.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

so you c/f the flop? c/call seems the worse option by far

ya I just c/f, don't like leading a hand this weak when we are all so deep.

in a $10 super on the river I has a house so I call.

I think what is most important is that Melamory was feeling normal but by the end of the hand he was feeling happy.

Aside from that I play it much like you do and then fold river, as you are best looking to split, but could be beat. It isn't worth it for the amount of chips you could be winning to what you could be losing.

Limping 10-8 utg bit unlikely imo. Because you check flop and wake up when the next 4 comes down 88 or 10x can shove for value otr or eg A4 can misguide shove to avoid a chop. I check flop also and snap river. Don't think he wud have flush.
