1. One black chip of 25

2. Flat and take appropriate action depending on OR action.

It looks quite shallow so 19-22 seem ok.

Hand 2 happy to flat vs his utg range, don't want to miss the chance to see a flop.

Hand 1 is a spot where it is impossible to give general advice. It depends totally on how the table is playing. Sometimes you can make it £50 to play (or even bigger) and have every limper call, other times making it £20 will likely result in everyone folding. To get your sizing right here you have to do two things. First be completely focussed and in the flow of the game so you 'know' how big you can raise and still get action. Second, not be at all constrained by general principles or dogmas that prevent you ever raising to 25bbs because it is not a 'standard' raise size.

I played a hand a couple of months ago where five players limped in and I had AA in the BB. I made it 20bbs to go and as the chips left my hand I instantly knew that I had made a terrible mistake and should have made it at least 30bbs, and would still have got action from at least one player. It really is possible to make these sort of over-sized bets in weak live games, but you need to be completely at one with the game flow to know exactly how much you can get away with.
