Very early on in tournament table is very passive

Blinds: 100/200 no ante

HERO(UTG+2):

I raise too 500 playing ~25k 2 callers from the BTN and BB covering me

FLOP:   

BB checks I bet 700 into 1500 BTN flats BB check raises too 2100 I flat and BTN folds

TURN: 

BB bets 7k into 6.4k I have ~16k back

Your action?

yeah I dont really follow. If he is passive pre then he can have a few hands here imo, not just JT shirley?

we will have 16k left otr 20k in the pot, dont expect him to bomb any 2 pair combo on the river, so probably folding the river if he jams

Bigger pre, bigger flop and agree with calling turn eval river.

A 'very passive' table isn't going to suddenly take off with AJ AT, and it's quite hard to have AQ/KQ. Can't see a passive type c/ring flop with AJ/ATcc either.

Sorry, I misread stack size, op said he had 16k back, but obv now that would be if he called turn.

What about AK?

AK likely to be played the same but there are less combos of AK than there are JT. Arguments could work both ways with AK betting so big on turn to 'protect it'. Would this player dissuade action and be 'happy to take the pot down' or have other reasons for needlessly betting so big on the turn.

Did you see how the BB peeled his cards? Actions of flicking it in nonchalantly to see a flop with the JT and holding AK are going to be different with the entire field unless Deadman is playing.
