If you follow people, then you will get recs.
EG, you follow numerous poker players, click on their profile and get a rec, etc, etc.
Also look through their followers to find someone you may know.
Alan Sugar is my personal favourite, he called someone a "double barralled tosser" and I loved it

The beauty of twitter is that you follow the people who interest you, and one person's twitter feed could l be as dull as hell to someone else.
People who say that twitter is full of rubbish and they don't want to know about what someone or other had for breakfast or something similar aren't really understanding what twitter is all about.

I followed a tattoo artist called Dan Gold for a while. He was one of the stars of a programme called London Ink.
He spent a night tweeting about a spider on his ceiling and how he was scared of it. It was disturbingly entertaining.

Just follow Channing, saves a lot of time because he retweets anything worth reading from virtually anyone who might have heard of.
Sort of like a twitter version of the King Henry VIIIs food tasters.

Beat me to it. I must say a lot of my follows came from Channing retweets.
Case in point, I didn't think I would be following Danny Baker, but Channing showed me the way.
In poker terms, just follow KevMath, he does all the work for you.

Pretty much the reason I joined actually, saw on a website there was a lot of banter amongst players. media etc, those two first were amongst the first I added.

Superb, thanks Rich.
Anyone who can provide similar lists for other sports, I'd be most grateful.
Not interested in poker players, I already have them all, & most can very adequately squeeze a bad beat into 140 characters.
