Hero (MP3): 1,470 (49 bb)
CO: 480 (16 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with
2 folds, MP1 raises to 60, MP2 folds, Hero raises to 185, 2 folds, SB calls 170, 2 folds

Flop: (460) Two Diamonds (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets 230, SB calls 230

1st hand I have played in opening 10 hands of tourney.  Am I too crazy 3-betting here pre-flop?  Should I be following up on flop and turn?  What is your river action?

Nice and blunt - thanks Dave.  I'm trying new stuff and I'm not always applying it appropriately.  Kind of guessed the response to this one.

no point to go crazy 3b with junk at this point of tourney. Wouldn't mind if it was 67 or T9 sooted as much easier to make a good hand and win a big pot

Yeh at this stage in the tournament I just fold.  No need to inflate the pot with garbage.  Tight is right early in low buy in tournaments.

just base your game entirely around value at these stakes and you will make a lot more money than trying to do these things
