Fairly good chance I will be in Nottingham next Saturday night with nothing to do.

DTD calendar says there is an APAT tournament Day 1a on that night.

Is that all there will be?

If no other tournaments, roughly what time will the cash games start?

Thanks.

You lucky lucky man Keith, if you can't get in the tournament, they are actually having the APAT Awards at DTD on Saturday. Maybe they'd let you present one.

I'm playing that APAT day one which has a 2pm start on Saturday Keith.

I'd say there's a very good chance that I'll be available for dinner.

The cash-games should be especially decent this weekend too.

I'll be there for cash games, and there is also the chance to get into some of the APAT events on the day (if you're there early enough).  Should be a good atmosphere at the club.

Sounds good, especially if ostrich is still on the menu.

If you want to try something a bit different Keith, we have a Saturday night special on the menu...

APAT WCOAP Cash Championship

The event is run over two timed phases and the key features are as follows:-

Phase One:

- The first phase will run over several tables for a three hour period.

- Players must buy in for £100 + a one off 10% fee.

- Players will be able to have one optional rebuy of £100 if they lose their entire first stack.  Their will be no fee on their rebuy.

- Players will be assigned a table and seat number as in tournament play.

- Blinds will be static at 50p / £1 in the first phase.

- Players can opt to leave with the cash in front of them. However, once they have exited, they cannot buy back in.

- There will be no alternates or late buy ins.

- Tables are balanced following exits as a tournament would be.

- At the end of the first phase, the leading eight cash stacks are carried forward to the final table.

- The game is over for the remaining players and they keep whatever cash is left in front of them.

Phase Two:-

- The final phase will run over three hours.

- The blinds will increase to £1 / £2.

- Players will draw for seat position.

- If players have not used their single rebuy, they can choose to add it to their stack before play recommences in phase two.

- Players can again choose to leave the final table at any point with the cash in front of them.

- The player who is either the last standing, or has the largest stack left after the three hour phase two period will be the event winner.

There's a bangle for the winner too, just not this particular one.

Looks interesting Des, might give this a bash if there is enough interest and Uncle Ralph isn't free for Ostrich Tandoori.

Would it be too much to expect/hope for that after you've paid the entry fee the games will be rake free?
