I assume it's 4 to be paid on the National, BTW?

It sounds as if Tal is trying to protect his position by going EW through the card.

But can he withstand the inevitable assault of nineteen kamikazi banzai pilots including a couple(well one) of tried and tested algorithms with previous for finding 50/1 winners just when they need them?

I can't comment on my tactics as yet.

I'm expecting an onslaught of outsider winners and whoever is in the lead going into the last race will probably be funking against half the field. Part of me hopes that's what happens and everyone has picked a different horse.

How would you price it up from here, Karabiner?

I reckon you must be a shade of odds-on Tal, about 4/5.
