Let's get the thread back on track. TY for whoever said I have some integrity, I never want to offend anybody and using any kind of offensive word to describe a poker player is for comedy value only. It's not directed at them and only reflects their ability at a card game. IMHO using words that are very nasty are out of order (although I sometimes post fkkkkkkkkkkk) or using words like "retard", "window licker" or "spastic" are poor form. I didn't even know what mong meant until I looked on urban dictionary when tighty pulled me up. I still don't know if he's been OTT or if that word really means offence. If it does, sorry. Not a lack of judgement, just pure ignorance.

Let's not get this thread de-railed as I'm trying to win!

i enjoy reading your thread but those words do put me off a little

i can confirm though it wasnt tighty or myself that brought up the terms being used just tighty felt something had too be said i dont think he is OTT

as i said before too myself and amongst people that know me i am a cripple but i wouldnt accept that from joe bloggs on the street

and i have introuduced myself as a cripple and professional layabout at meetings i was at representing the local disability forum

infact i hate the word disabled would much rather use the word handicapped but the PC world wont allow this

too me if you were too disable something you stop in fuctioning
where as in golf and racing handicap levels the playing field
which is what my wheelchair does for me

I'm going to play a short session now, and then another short session at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Club champs was ok, went out in +3 which is really good in the course conditions but came back in +9. Went triple bogey, double bogey on 15 and 16. Teeing off at 1pm tomorrow so I can play mainly turbos in the morning (as well as now). I would have played earlier but I had a couple of pints of cider in the sun and hit knocked me for 6 and had a 2 hour sleep when I got back!
