Do you mean you fold 50% of the time as your first action or to a re-raise?

If you mean the former, I beg to disagree (again).

Having written this, I now see Bazza has posted.  I fear he may be correct.

If you are not at the wind up then you must get dealt AA and KK a helluva lot more times than I do.  Oh and you keep reminding us how you fold AA as well.  Incidentally what hands do you play?

Fine.  No problem.  Why ask for other people's views?

You are quite correct.  I'm not 'good' enough to fold AA pre-flop (except under very exceptional circumstances which have been discussed on these boards before).

I acknowledge that we have different views on how to play AA ..... and AK......

To just be a little controversial, The AA pass preflop was a justified play, last to act and to call all in with AA against 4 other players, your aces are a 2% dog.  why call all in as a 2% dog when 3 people will probably go out and you make the cash by outplaying people from a better spot.  You cant just play the cards in this particular situation.

I will also say this is about the only time I would ever fold aces pre flop.

Those aces are not a 2% dog, they are 48% to win and at this point are the favourite hand! Now, whilst you may lose with the hand in this situation more than you win, its a simple race scenario but the time of the tournament dictates that it is profitable to let this go.

I fold big hands all the time, but can't see anytime why I would wanna fold AK utg, even if I just limped(which would be worse IMHO) So no I aint folding AK utg, If I get a re raise then sure you can fold it, but not until.

I said no but you haven't stated the conditions. If i raise and get reraised which is then followed by an all in i would probably fold it but generally i'll be getting my chips in there with this one.
