Hello guys, I'm new to the forums, just signed up. Been looking for advice on my game, been playing for nearly 3 years now with little success. I feel I have a descent understanding to a lot of the aspects of the game but tend me make silly moves without reasons + some FPS. Please help me! Smiley

In this particular hand I flat pre because LP stacks are good players and will squeeze quite wide I think. On flop I try just to take the pot down. On the turn I try to catch a card to hit or a good card to rep on river. When villiain bets river I feel like its gunna be really easy for me to have a flush and can easily rep it, especially with the , and it's hard for him to call the river even if he has a hand? thnoughts?

PS. Notes on villain was he was tight aggro player:

I have no clue what he is doing in the hand.

River is kinda cool but its a $5 tourney (5 2r1a?) so you probably somehow had the best hand. I like the flat pre tbh, especially with stack sizes behind.

Just under 2k in the pot before play is on us. Trivial jam for me as this negates
any postflop errors from Hero in this instance coupled with the fold equity.

Ran this hand through SNGwiz giving UTG the following range
44+ A9o+ A5s+ KQ.(13%) And a Call%8.6

Set all players behind to average Call% and used Chip equity mode giving hero 0 edge.

Suggested pushing with 99+, AK,AQs+

All seems reasonable. Would suggest you play some 6max cash to improve post flop play
that or HU. All the best to you look forward to more posts in the future.

Very optimistic to be thinking about getting light squeezes from competent players over an UTG open and a weird MP flat when the opener has <20 bigs imo. Its a $5 tournament and you have a good hand, lets start shoveling some money in.
