The two just aren't comparable - if you honestly think that calling someone a 'Paki' so and so is the same as 'bald' so and so then you need to move into the modern world, as the guy in OP link needs to.

I wouldn't expect you to use the word Andy, and I believe you treat everyone equally regardless of their colour or race.

I have Pakistani and Indian friends who detest being called Paki - as it's often used as a derogatory term, prefaced or suffixed with bastard or not.  It's the same as black friends referring to each other as 'nigga', it's very different to calling someone a nigger.  When people are discriminated against because of the colour of their skin, or there is a long history of discrimination because of their race or colour, then using terms related to this discrimination is obviously far more than political correctness.

I don't know about too much discrimination against bald people as a group which has seen them being marginalised, discriminated against, physically abused or murdered.  Which is why it isn't the same thing.

Point taken in context. But I can see why an Indian would get offended

I do have experience of being racially abused as 1 of only 10 foreigners in a school of 1100 pupils. I got on with it and being bigger than most the school helped considerably.
No one was ever violent to me for being foreign but people have and still do slap my head for being bald
