Good tournament as usual from the Luton crew, really nice bunch of dealers and managers. Nice up Tightarse to do the updates.

Amazing how Mrs Bambos made it, she was all in for her last £20k with KQ v Trupmers A8 and rivered a Q.

Cruel game this poker, especially multi-table tournamnents where the blinds become so high relative to your stack, the skill factor is very small, but its exciting to see the all-ins etc. Just proves that you are never out as long as u have a few chips left.

I really concentrated and although my set got busted by runner runner gushot straight I got lucky to hit a 2 outer V Justin, so I cant really moan. Sitting in hotel and cant bear to go back to casino as feel sick in my stomach about the hand. Got no spare underwear for tomorrow so have a few other problems aswell! Everyone is buzzing about the poker club but I just want to curl up and die..........its only a game.

M3, sorry for busting you out, mate. Noone passes top pair A kicker to a mug like me, you'll be right 7/10 times so its a +ve EV call! Geoff Duvall is a class act and he called me with A7 so dont beat yourself up about it.

Cheers Rob

Just got back after playing a one table satellite for tomorrow (didn't win) and the £300 shootout (didn't win that either!)

Just wanted to say thanks for all the good wishes.  Kind of bizarre reading it all now but good fun too!  Big thanks to Heid & Tighty for doing it.

Spent a fair amount of time at the tables with two Blondites over the last couple of days.  M3Boy will forever be grateful to me for proving that you can flop Quads and get paid off!  He's a tough opponent at the table but good company.  As for Rob Yong, words can't describe how unlucky he was to bust out in the fashion that he did.  He's one hell of a character at the table and the good natured banter makes for a fun time.  Hopefully I'll never see the day when I find him with a hand and double him up - I'll never hear the end of it!!

Good luck to everyone playing the main event tomorrow.  I was toying with the idea of playing but I've come to the conclusion that I can't be arsed with it!  I guess 9 hours of poker, 2 hours kip, 5 hours work followed by another 8 hours of poker is probably enough for this weekend.  Looks like Mrs Sheriff will have to make do with my company instead, poor lass!

Cheers Charmaine.

The Luton double chance events seems to be a lucky charm for me, for some reason.  That the 4th time I've played it and the 3rd time I've cashed!  Here's to it continuing, with a bit better luck at the final table next time!

Well done to everyone in this, great poker all day and some quite brutal beats including Jeff D hitting runner runner straight to knock out rob in a 250k pot, Sheriff losing with AK vs AQ, queen on the river etc etc

Great performances by a lot of blondeites, and a brilliant showing from Mrs Bambos who surived an all in with KQ to knock out Trumper with A8, Q on the river to double up to 50k and then progress to take part in the three way chop

Well done Rana Gurnam too, not a foot wrong all day

Dreading the mobile phone bill, but we'll do it properly tomorrow, lappy, Vodafone card, pictures and all..........
