Funny how the question on the atmosphere tripped most people up, on here and in the survey.
Reckon its one of those things you assume you know, but have never actually thought about!

12, about 4 more than I expected.

At least 2 or 3 were educated guesses.

If you had been educated you wouldn't have needed to guess  Wink

The atmosphere is a little under ⁴/5 Nitrogen.

Very much one of those oddities you either know or you don't, because of how we know the oxygen we need comes from the air we breathe. But now we all know and can catch our friends out with it Smiley

I can just imagine how that conversation would play out....

Me (Enthusiastically) 'Hey, which gas do you think makes up most of the earths atmosphere?'

My friend (eyes rolling) 'Erm, Oxygen?'

Me (Triumphantly)  'Ha! No! Its Nitrogen!

My friend (Eyebrow raised) 'Oookaay! Did you see Eastenders last night?'

If that doesn't work, tell them you can work out how many minstrels are in a packet just by someone shaking them by your ear.

When they do it, pause, think and say seventeen.

Then collect your wager.

Hmm, sounds quite impressive, but if you could identify the percentage of orange ones in a packet of Revels by shaking them by your ear I would declare you a God amongst men!

I am brilliant, but only within narrow perameters.

Am I the only one here now thinking of buying five packs of Minstrels to check this out?

Plus I really do like Minstrels.

Is 5 a significant sample size?  I would have thought you'd need to buy at least 12 bags... Wink
