5quad, villian is unknown but 3 tabling some low buyin tournaments. Felt like his range was gona be really strong so although pre is kinda questionable think its OK with some good implied odds vs a really strong range.

Anyone fold at any earlier point post? Anyone call now?

(he left himself 1k on the river, read into that what you will)

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

http://www.pokerstrategy.com
Board: 9cAdQdKc3c
   Equity   Win   Tie
UTG   50.00%   50.00%   0.00%   { 9d9h }
UTG+1   50.00%   50.00%   0.00%   { QQ+, AKs, AKo }

PUKE DECISION

Think you have to call pre for the AK's in his range...flop against this range has u at 76% fave...then turn kinda ruins it all and the river makes it a dead heat (according to equilab)

Flip a coin? lol

EDIT: Check raising the flop an option???

50% is an easy decision, you have to call.  Not sure it is 50% though, as he may not be the type to value bet some of those.

Think this is a must call now because of the AKs in his range.  JT must be impossible, only AcQc and maybe AcJc (seems unlikely on read) as he is unlikely to 3 bet suited connectors at this level.  Pre looks fine.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Raise flop. So many cards which kill action on later streets. Means we can get stacks in with 2 bets instead of one and avoid more chance of gross run outs. Really dislike the flop flat.

As played never folding river.

Definitely raising the flop; any particular reason you think his preflop range is so nutted? He's not folding AK/AQ and it's not like we get a huge amount of action from JJ/KK on most turns anyway; if he has a draw this is his opportunity to get it in, or maybe he just thinks you're FOS raising an ace-high board in a 3bet pot and crams it in with Qx or something.

As played I guess we gotta continue the trap on the turn. River I probably call ingame but I suppose it's a fold.
