530 PLO SCOOP; we go big for value & get piled on

Playing about 40% of hands and my image is completely nuts. Got seated with a fish to my direct right who was limping a lot and generally playing terribly. Played a hand earlier where he limped sb I raised bb and 3barrel bluffed on Qx
Ax, he had Q9xx. Villain has been decently tight and only seen one notable showdown where he 3b small with AKJ5ds btn vs co and took a smart line postflop.

how can we fold. if you truly do look like a nutter on the table, villain will be piling all worse triplets possibly even 2pairs Kx, thin for combos but still possible. your hand can look like a missed wrap hand but i wouldnt ever expect to see it this early on. who knows how they perceive you.
would it be possible with the hand swapped and say you had
you would ship OTR when villain leads if they had your image? it could be a very trappy line and flat flat pot on rainbow dry textures, especially when you can never have nuts taking your line.
even though this is always something i cant even think of that play here, you prob get shown double suited double holdem hands
.

I realise this doesn't help now, but potting river would have left you with odds where you could never consider folding to a shove (if 9/1 doesn't already do that for you
).
But maybe that's not a good thing if you can correctly make this bet and somehow fold to a jam, still it would make life easier...

suggestion that our opponeont plays 2pairs like this are defo misguided, I could prolly be persauded that you'll see some smaller trips here(well just JJ really) once in a blue moon.
Gross spot.

So hard for both of you to have 45 though...
Feels icky. Think I call but I just can't see a single hand he can have here, and I'm a curious George. He doesn't have to turn up with JJ or some random shite very often for you to have a profitable call, I guess.
Icky.

No way is this foldable. There are so few combos of hands that plausibly have 45 in them, you're getting great odds, he can plausibly have worse hands for value, this isn't *never* a bluff, and having a 1k stack isn't much of a tournament life to care that deeply about preserving.

Fwiw I don't think he shoves a worse hand for value, and I think it'd be pretty stupid for him to do that too given how polarized I am/look. The hard time I was having otr is that a lot of his hands should have SD value so for him to be bluffing he has to have exactly a no pair draw, and there aren't many that call twice on this board. Also he opened the button so QT54/JJ54/KJ54/K54x combos are credible.

He still has to have backdoored it.
I know it's awesome to be a hero but this isn't the right spot. If you pay him off it was still very unlikely he had the implied odds to call you down.

surely if you're polarised he has a decent shove against the bottom of your range with a range which is slightly worse?
like - it's hard for you *also* to have no pair no draw hand, so the bottom of your range might be some stuff he can make you fold that he can't beat...

I can remember two spots in my life where I've tried to bluff similar sizing in villains' shoes.
Neither worked.

just ebcause it's a bad bluff (maybe, not really sure I've thought about the spot enough) doesn't mean he can't be doing it though.
i think he has to show up with some crock of shite so infrequently (or a value hand, which Im more conv he can't have because we're polarised) that we have a profitable call either way.

I agree, was making the point that it is possible for villain to be bluffing here.
Obviously the better odds we're being given by villain, the less likely he thinks we are to fold, so the more likely he is to have a value hand; but that also means he can be jamming a wider value range, including middle set that he thinks he's underrepped. I don't think it's that important that we're polarized, as we're relying on villain to understand that. Maybe his plan was to call/call/jam basically any runout that didn't make a straight and he thinks we're gonna call it off with top pair because we're bad at poker.

from what I can see of Villain (what the internet says) he probably doesn't understand underrepped or polarised.
if he was the kind of villain that did (and from what I googled for the OP, don't know him but pha stuff seems solid) then he's quite unlikely to suspect that we're bad at poker.
makes a call even clearer for me tbh.
