Do your homework before paying for coaches, some are less reliable than others. Marc Wright / railtard comes with a pretty iffy reputation, for example.

ive heard about Marc's past with money... clearly he's made some mistakes. But coaching wise ive only heard good things.
even if you just sweated him, recorded it and had him voice his reasoning and ideas as he did it, youd probably learn chunks.

Yeah, I haven't heard anything iffy about his coaching reputation, either.
By all means, OP, shop around, do your research and pick what works for you.

I wasn't saying anything about his coaching or playing abilities. You've got to be able to trust your coach, especially if you're sending him $ upfront. I'm pretty amazed at how willing people are to forgive outright scammers in the poker community.
