Was just gunna shove outright but took a look at stacks and felt better to raise big looking like I'm commiting myself.... now I wanna fold? :/

Just shove pre.  Folding seems terrible given the odds, and the fact you could still be 50/50 the triple up.  I assume the payouts are going to be flattish for a while, so it isn't like you are going to ladder much by folding.

If you must raise, surely min raise it if you want to look strong.  Much bigger than that just makes people think you are bad.

:/ yup. One of those I know I should be calling. I never put myself in this spot usually and just JAM pre.

But ye as previous post said, min raise then maybe fold. or just ship.

you can actually ignore the short stack all in and just take a view on the 4b (as you break even by beating the 4 bettor).

Pretty much not folding unless I know he is an absolute uber nit

we cant even think of folding, so much dead money call and lose to a8s.

play around with pokerstrategy.com equilab and see the equity we have vs the ranges, these things are simple math questions and not really strategy questions. you have a better feel of the ranges because youre at the table, you will know whether you should include ATs etc.
