I received the following we-mail yesterday, which amused me somewhat, though I'm not entirely sure why.
4th Row Films Award Winning Documentary
All In - The Poker Movie
is having its Cable Television Broadcast Premiere on Showtime
Wednesday, June 5th at 7:30 p.m.
From Filmmaker Douglas Tirola (An Omar Broadway Film, the upcoming Hey

oldest games has had a renaissance in the past few years and why, for so
many, poker is the way to chase the American Dream. Featuring
interviews with the biggest names in poker including Chris Moneymaker,
Phil Hellmuth Jr, Annie Duke and many more. 4th Row Films invites you
to tune in and see the film The Los Angeles Times calls, "Energetic!" If
you enjoyed All In - The Poker Movie, 4th Row Films new documentary, Hey
Bartender, opens in select theaters, Friday, June 7th.

I remember watching
Deal
in my hotel room in Vegas a few years back, starring Burt Reynolds as the old time gambler and Bret (from off of
Reaper
) Harrison as the new kid on the block.
Featured Shannon Elizabeth as the love interest.
I'm going to say I've seen better films. Mark Kermode, I am not.

I find the cold email followed by 'you may contact' us the most amusing bit!

even 2 years back i was horrified to see the wsop roll her out for the 'shuffle up deal' announcement...not what you want to have to endure right before kick-off.
reminds me of dubs point on one of the staking threads about how incredibly tilting some things are the wsop, the pandering up to the cameras, the whoop whooping etc...pretty sure it's one of the few events left that i'm likely to tilt it all-off in.

Maybe having near crushed US apprentice and having Trump as a "friend" makes her less shady in people's eyes? Fuck knows TBH she's terrible in every respect.
