Villains Thinking????

OK PHA with a slight difference!
Although I was not fully involved in this hand I was kinda the catalyst.
A little background history.
Villain is a good player. He says he is playing live cash full time; I kinda believe that or categorise him as 'semi pro'. I've played with him previously at DTD and both times he has run up very healthy stacks. He is actually from closer to home and, a couple of months back he started coming to the local casino from his local city - a 45 minute drive away. In the first few sessions he ran very healthy profits; obviously got the taste.
He plays LAG and tends to run over older reg types. When I play now, I take immediate position and 3/4/5 bet lots; I also like to take strange lines. The earlier I do this and the earlier I can get under his skin/stack him the better...as he visibly tilts. FWIW he is a confidence player/very disciplined and leaves the game once he has lost 2 buy ins (or more I suspect when he realises he is steaming).
Immediate History.
Game is only 1/1 and I have come from other table with about 250 and quickly stacked someone and sit with about 375. Villain sits on 220. I am 2 to villains left.
The Hand
Action folds to villain who raises to £4
I'm in C/O and click it back to £7
SB (kind of has an idea, but lots of gamble/call off/f*ck u n stick it in yer eye tendencies) calls, as does the BB
Villain makes it £37.
I suspect he is 4b lite, but have a feeling sh*t is about to get weird from SB...so fold. (FWIW I
did
3b lite)
At this point SB shoves for total of £137!!!!
BB Folds
Villain looks rather sickened. Dwells and calls.
The flop runs out something like td7d6sqcx
The SB tables AJ to win the pot
So:
a. What are we putting the villain on?
b. His reasoning for calling off?
Factors to consider
:
a. SB line looks weakish.
b. He is calling £100 to win £188 (34.7%)
I know he can do this with almost any 2 cards, but it seems unlike this guy to do this. I've discussed with another player in depth and so have my own reasoning, but do not know if they're sound. Ideas?

The only reason you would ever call here is because you think you're getting the right price to do so. Maybe he's seen this guy do this with something funky before? You dont know how much history these guys have with each other?

The range you assigned contains no pairs?
Based on your range he should pretty much have KQ & KJs

He can't call with those hands if he makes the same assessment of the villains range that you do.

Doubt theres any deeper level thinking, sounds like villain isn't that capable of changing it up if you can predict his range so accurately. Defo must have been a 'perceived equity' call.

Yeh I mean basically all that would make sense to me is KJ, and he was pissed off cause he was dominated?
