I shall mainly be Lester Piggott tomorrow, on John Cherry, at Chester.

As opposed to Park Top at Longchamps.

I seem to recall that after the Longchamps debacle, when the Parisian crown all booed Lester, Andew Devonshire (actually, the DUKE of Devonshire, he of Chatsworth House, but he used "Andrew" in racing circles) turned to the crowd & gave them the full two finger jobbie.
