i hope he gets a fair trial and if he is guilty he is convicted and gets the punishment he deserves

Fair enough, we may be pretty sure that Stuart Hall is guilty, but if we decide that without the benefit of a fair trial, what happens to the next bloke to be accused?

Are we then to decide who deserves a fair trial and who doesn't?
