Leeds v Wednesday doesn't sell out?

Why's that, ticket prices?

I can never figure the 'live' thing out.

Half empty stadiums look dreadful on TV, and are hardly the 'look' that the broadcasters wish to portray to the fat lumps smothering all those settees in Much-Binding-in-the-Marsh.

Why, oh why, don't all those unimaginative dull home clubs make it Kid-a-Quid, and a fiver for adults, and fill all those rows of empty seats?

The mini fans will gorge on overpriced junk food, swill buckets of sickly flavoured soda excreta, buy crappy Fishul merchandise, and after enjoying a football match they cannot usually afford to attend go home to their poor parents in a total 'E numbered' frenzied state to recant tales of derring do.

The adults might cotton on that a day out on the piss at the football is preferable to be dragged round Lakeside by some credit card busting female.

Instead the 'footballing spectacular' on Tikay TV remains consistent: two teams going through the motions in Echo Alley, where the highlight of the day for the couch potato audience is noting the creative cursing by the away teams physiotherapist at the oppositions crude tackling.

English Football, the 'professional game'     .....     run by business inept wallies who'd struggle to turn a profit running the tombola stall at the Annual Village Fete!

I don't think I've known the game become a sell out or even close in previous seasons

It was set as Cat A before it was moved to TV, so basically £30+ to watch a midday game on TV. Sheff brought about 1000 fans I believe, not a huge away support. Plenty of other home games to pick of choose without spending a lot of TV games. Rhinos last night also Smiley

It's not a lot of fans because people don't want to spend money where violence had been threatened, pay over the odds, whilst it was on TV.

Given any other circumstances I would have assumed 2,000 min.

Much needed win. Shame I couldn't go Sad

Our prices are ridiculous. Luckily have 24k season ticket holders since these prices work out £24 per game compared to £28-40 per game on individual basis.

Hornets defence still looks dodgy - hopefully this Belkalem chap will sort it out.  Fabbrini looks rather good up front from the bench - although have that fear that he's not going to fancy the long slog over winter though.  Hopefully will be proved wrong.

Hopefully these rumours about Deeney being targetted by Premier teams are unsubstantiated.  He really does bind the attacking unit together.

Brighton very good against Leeds and defo best team we played so far. Give the table a month or two to settle and they will be in the top 6 easily.

Will be interesting as we have these players out injured

Bruno
Orlandi
Bridcutt
Cms
Barnes
Hoskins
Andrews

5 of them would be in first 11!

League is very even and can only see forest running away with it.

Which of those 5 would you have in starting lineup?

jeez still going back this, i knew how quality he was as someone in the know had told me, what i said was he was a bit lethargic in his first few games, surely now you can see how poor he was in the first few games compared to now?

He was poor but you could tell he had premiership quality. He hadn't played for a couple of months prior to signing though.

Hopefully by the QPR game our team will be..

Blackpool away tomorrow     ....       please, oh please, give that snarling little twat - Ince Senior - plenty to moan about, Mr Zola.

Forest last Sunday: looked a good side in the making (maybe coulda nicked it) - they worked their socks off (their players looked totally cream crackered as they came off) - could be a good year for them     ......         and a massive thank you for McGugan, Gianfranco's gonna turn that 'lazy bastard' into a helluva player.

Where they could come unstuck this season is on the disciplinary side - they committed 20 fouls against Watford, and got 5 bookings     ....     they're gonna need a big squad at that rate, to cover the suspensions!

Bournemouth (L/C): they put out a full side against Watford's 'reserves' - huffed, puffed, and got clobbered on the break.

I like Eddie Howe, he plays the game the right way, but (early doors) they look like one of those teams that are "too good to go down"     ....      too many unforced errors, a little naive, don't get the 'breaks', and desperately need a bit of quality injected, especially in front of goal.

Watford: unbeaten so far - but hardly ripping up tree stumps, as yet.

We gave the rest a rather healthy head-start last season, but with the new additions are starting to gel with last years mob it makes for a satisfactory & promising start to the campaign.

Agree Luther - I'm pleased with the start.  Just hope we don't lose at Blackpool to go into the international break on a downer.

Leicester sign Hammond.

Slowest turning circle in the champ. Gives his all though.
