Four rooms strategy ?
«

For those that have never seen it, how it works is you take an item in to sell, there are four dealers who will ask you questions about it and you can ask them as well thus can gauge interest.
They then return to their rooms and you then have to say which order you wish to see the dealers in.
So assuming dealer:
1 seems super interested
2 seems fairly interested
3 seems not very interested
4 seems to have no interest
Importantly, if you turn down an offer, once you leave that room you can never go back to it. Also they don't know which order you're seeing them in.
What order would you visit them in ?

I would do 4321. Seems safest bet to me.

4321 was my first thought. Seems too simple though.

No the trick is to see the most interested one in the middle. Under no circumstances must he be seen last, or know he us being, seen last. Game theory, you need some leverage. 2431 or 1432

15 mins per room max, they have a rough idea and often use it as a negotiating tactic on the show

Hate to say it, but the show needs Jeff Salmon back.

I can't see any reason for having 4 anywhere but first.

As a salesperson who has never seen the programme, snap sell to number 1 at a price we are both happy and stuff the others lol. Then move on to the next potential customer, time management ftw.

Watched an episode of this last night to see what it's about and, tbh, I don't get this programme.
I am intrigued by the popular 4321 strategy and would like to see a rationale for it, rather than just a list. If you get a decent offer along the way, what will you do? Take it and drop the most interested person? If you reject it, what was the point of seeing that one at all? Don't get Tighty's strategy either - the sequences he listed seem to contradict his text, so far as I can see.
I would just go to the one who is interested and work down the sequence 1234, because that puts the most likely to give you a decent offer first and so on. If you don't get one, move down until you do. Accept any reasonable offer, cos it's only going to get less likely as you go on.

Depends on ur knowledge of the product and its market.
If u know about the product I would use the 4321
And prob do 4213 if u know nothing about the product
