Always find it interesting that players can sort of fall out of love with the game as Tighty explained with Tomlin as he left Leicester. I know you may laugh at the comparison, but Palace's version of a player that was technically very good but really hated the game by his own admission was Tommy Black. He would only put the effort in to make sure he secured his contract and then he would get fat and not bother afterwards. Just interesting how some pros don't absolutely love the fact they play football for a living.

Crazy result at Gresty Road today. Poshies crushed for 90mins, got hit by two early sucker punches and chiselled out a draw in the end. Brizzle could pay the price next weekend.

To be fair, looks like he does play the ball with his trailing leg and then goes through Wells. Always going to be given as a foul though and more often than not going to be a red too.

It is with his trailing leg, and despite his leading leg really lunging in it doesn't make contact nor did the keeper intend for it to, it was more of a block tackle than going into the player. Even if you think it is a foul, I think it was outside the box, and is it a clear goalscoring opportunity, pretty hazy for me. Regardless think the keeper plays the ball without a shadow for me. |

Slowed down contact outside box, keeper gets to ball .... ref a mile off - raised leg (that didn't connect) probably deciding factor .... ul goalie - but at 'match speed' you can't blame the ref for that decision!
