It's just com how far clear the Poshies are of the rest in this league.

Such a shame we're wasting a season. Apols to Barnsley and Yeovil fans but we really should be where they are now. We'd be pushing for the play-offs in the Champo. Cereal!

T'Blades came and parked t'bus, but it worked. They'll be OK this season for sure.

Poshies are missing Tomlin more than anyone ever imagined, not least Assomba. The diamond is hopeless without Fatty at the tip.

With what sir? Poshies?

We've been poor since beating Reading 6-0 in the crapital one cup tbh, and rode our luck in getting a few of the wins, notably the 1-0 away at T'Millers.

Defensively we're OK but the goals have dried up since Tommo had his head turned. I have a horrible feeling that we're gonna get dumped out by Exeter on Saturday.

Darragh has been busy tho...

'I sense a young gem like uncut prolific, pacey, unpolished diamond being delivered next Monday to Posh, found in one of our fav hunting grounds'
'And it wont be the only one, another shall follow as well. Nothing like a couple of gems to mix in with the older diamonds in our collection!'
'And no its not from Dagenham.'
'Perms after initial loan period ala Gayley.'

It's almost certainly the latest Macclesfield hotshot.

Good stuff, just wanted your insight on the poshies. You have a great knack for getting young gems, i think players must look to you as their ticket to the bigtime, or at least capable of demanding a very nice sum to play your future football, like McClean and CMS.

Yuh, plenty of lower-league talent has come through.

Wish Fergie would give up on this diamond guff though. It hasn't worked since Boydy left and is embarrassing when Tomlin is out of the team.

I'm expecting a striker and attacking midfielder to come back in. Maybe we'll even put Luke Freeman out of his misery at Stevenage. We're used to entertainment at London Road, not grinding out 1-0s. Think Darragh is leaning the same way also.

Tomlin is out of the team?

Is he that integral that when he is not playing or not playing well the rest of the team aren't capable of pushing for the top two spots?

I thought you guys had great strength in depth for this division. My view from the outside is that this is just a dip and normal service should resume. What do you think? Are you still advocating comfortable promotion?

We are now very strong at the back, with the best keeper in the league and an awesome defensive midfielder in Jack Payne, but without Tomlin there's no service to Assomba/Barnett.

Ask me again a couple of weeks after Connor Jennings and ANOther have come in.

Just hope we get past the mighty Exeter and Daggers first.

Solid, cheers.

Have a vested interest as I backed your lot to take down the FLT.

Sheffield United still having a massive struggle in League One, they lost 2-1 at home To Gillingham last weekend, and they was good value for that win too.

Some interesting quotes from Blades fans...

Absolutely horrendous on every level. Can't believe I've just paid £18 to watch that garbage.

People need to wake up and stop thinking this is all of a sudden just going to get better, it isn't. Without exception these players are absolute ****.

Make no mistake about it, we're in a relegation fight.

-------------------------------------------------

This group of players we have assembled are rotten to the core.

Half of them are simply not good enough and the majority don't seem to give a toss.

I've lost count of the number of matches I've been to in the past six months where they have showed absolutely NOTHING.

They did their best in getting David Weir the sack and now it looks as if they're doing the same to Clough.

------------------------------------------------

It's not even worth ranting about. Our players are getting paid more a week than I am in a month and I do more than most of them when I'm sat watching the game. Pathetic.

Seems they will be down there for a long time.

Richie barker sacked.

Crawley play very very good football, so I guess he's off to Pompey.

"He guided them to 10th place in League One last season, but they have not won any of their last seven games, scoring only once."

Is that a case of playing pretty football in spite of results syndrome?

Indeed, but it's a work in progress.
