this is a post just to clear things up, after reading posts and a few messages i have read, it has become apparant that a number of u find me arrogant. i would like to appologise to anyone i have offended with my posts, things dont always sound the way they should when written. As for the 2 posts causing huge debate (folding A A  and Q Q  preflop) ive given the impression i fold monster hands all the time. these were only 2 situations in 2 tourneys out of the 377 i have played, the only point i have been trying to make is that there is certain situations when u need to fold monster hands preflop, there was a reply to the Q Q preflop that said if wanted to win the tourney i should of called, the reason i folded is because i wanted to win, if i call and lose that hand im down to 14,000 in chips with blinds going to 2000/4000, i folded because i was comfortable in 3rd with 128,000 and did not need to gamble, id played 16 hands and won 15 of them. i can still easily win the tournament from here, its gonna be pretty hard with 14,000 chips and blinds going 2000/4000, the way i play poker and play my opponants i did not need to call and double my stack with this hand to win the tourney, i have enough belief in my ability that i dont need to gamble with my whole stack to win tourneys, whether i finished that hand with 128,000 or 260,000 didnt make a difference to me in winning the tourney, whether i finished the hand with 128,000 or 14,000 did matter to me, i respect everyones opinion and as i said this is 2 situation from 2 tourneys, the chances of me folding A A preflop again is very very rare (probably never happen) i respect everyones opinion, take care and have fun

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

There is no need to appologise mate, You have your opinion and others have theirs, TBH i found that your opinions caused some good debate, and I'm sure no one had taken any offence. Keep posting as I am sure your opinon's though controvesial to some are appreciated as they offer a different facet to the game that some dont consider.

 thumbs up thumbs up

I look forward to playing against you in Cincins

BTW hurry up and change the name of the newmanseye  the fish thread, I'm getting a bad rep   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

No problemo, but then again I'm on Bus Stop 9 and don't really care (sorry, you'll have to see EPT live section to understand what on earth I'm waffling on about.)

Arrogant?  Yes, that is the way you come across, whether intended or not.  Mind you, there are are a fair few of us that would have to plead guilty to that charge. High horses are mounted and dismounted with great regularity. If we all agreed there would be nothing to discuss.

Offensive?  Hell, no. Anything is fair game as long as it doesn't descend into personal abuse.

Keep posting because:
1. We love a good argument on the Hand Analysis board

2. The grammar nazi in me wants to see if you can achieve the first 1,000 word post on Blonde that doesn't contain a full stop  Cheesy

3. I want to see how you cope if your $5,000 heads up challenge is accepted and your opponent simply goes all in every hand.  You can win 10 before he wins 3?  Perhaps that should be a new topic for discussion.....

On a different topic, is there a link for the Ladbrokes 2005 leaderboard?  What is your name on that site?

No need to appologise mate, character is what this place is all about, and whilst there are a fair few sensitive souls, most of the banter here is light hearted. Whilst we have to watch what we say at times so as not to offend others who may be of different backgrounds to ourselves and have a different outlook on the world, I don't think you have spoken out of turn.

Who gives a stuff about the laddies leader board...

I want to know if he can win a 33 euro satellite to the EPT in Deauville, on crypto in the sixpak tourneys without playing hands like  Two Clubs or the monster  (must admit, I folded today and I feel ashamed. But I put a guy out on the final table with doyles hand so that makes up for it)
