Hi,
as you may know the Grand Prix in September is now approaching; with so many Day 1's which now combine chip stacks for Day 2 there provides a good chance of cashing. With plenty of time to gain plenty of Golden tokens I intend to enter as many Day 1's as I can, BUT this means winning a lot of Satellite tournys. Anyone have some good £1/£5 Satellite tips to share to help me reach my 1st ever Day 2! When to register, how to play, how to use your timebank  etc etc.... any help would be appreciated,

thanks!

And please for the love of God don't use your time bank when it's hand for hand.

It makes no difference.

I've noticed people doing this when in hand for hand mode - it left me scratching my head that's for sure!!!

Solid advice ^

with any cards? surely not?? but is it better to late reg than early reg I cant make up my mind, as I believe its mostly luck - late reg provides the opportunity to just double up and sneak a place in but early reg provides opportunity to gain a decent chip stack but also to bust early, I have had success with both and failure with both, opinions....??

just play the £1 feeders to get practice and save up your tokens for a week or so... 1 in 5 win it will give you more of a feel for the hands and way people play.

But don't sit there for 25 minutes after you get knocked out just to cheer the person who then knocks them out (sad I know but it did happen to me lol)

How much money should I invest until I give up on getting a token, Ive played loads of games and not won a single £1 or £5 tourney, I played the £3.30 feeder to the £115 deepstack and I won a place first time what is it about this Grand Prix??!!
