Mtt is the €7 Double chance (Big Game format) Event 32 of pokerstars.fr micro series. Full ring.

Blinds are 1,500/3000 with ante of 375

We are on the button with 53,893

UTG + 1 opens to 6,000. We currently have only played 30 hands v this villian, in that time he has opened 30% of hands, including the direct 2 before hand. He took the last one down on the turn, the one before he c/f flop.

Folds to us on the button. We can only 3bet for the pot, so we can't shove. We have both blinds covered.

How should we proceed in this hand.

What hand have we got?  Why is there a pot limit if we have antes?  I expect the answer is pot!

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Wager the maximum? Call and jam over a Chet on 80% of boards? Seems hard to go wrong with such a short stack and such a strong hand.

Pot is almost always the answer anyways. Don't even know why we looked at our hand.  Why do we have antes input limit? Is it a French thing.

in the "big game" it was pot limit pre and no limit post. So i assume this is the same. They also had ante's in that game, although it was cash not comp.
