1.Click on Start and then Control Panel.

2.Click on the Performance and Maintenance link.

Note: If you're viewing the Classic View of Control Panel, you won't see this link. Simple double-click on the System icon and proceed to Step 4.

3.In the Performance and Maintenance window, click on the System icon near the bottom of the window.

4.In the System Properties window, click on the Hardware tab.

5.With the Hardware tab selected, click on the Device Manager button.

6.You can now use Device Manager to update device drivers, view the system resources a particular hardware device is using, etc.

Nope!

The device manager just opens the wizard, who unfortunately, has nothing new up his sleeve.

if you've got a Dell you can go to their website, type in your model number and it will update all your drivers for you. maybe check your manufacturers website if you have another make?

I have a Dell, but this isn't it.

I just can't figure out why it works in one port (and therefore must already have the drivers and everything else it needs) but won't work in another.

Well when I plug the mouse in, it says "Found new hardware" and sets the mad wizard off.

Could be hardware (the ports themselves or the motherboard) or could be a drivers/software issue.

You at DTD this Sunday?  If so bring it along and I'll have a look at it.

I don't usually play the on-line satellite, but I decided last night that it was time I started. I won a token for the 50k, at my first attempt, (Thin) so I will be there on Saturday, and have my fingers crossed for Sunday.

How do the tokens work btw? I can't see it in my account.

I just plugged my phone in. the port charges it and sees it as a camera (as does my other computer)

Acer. It works fine in other machines.

Just tried my Voda dongle, that won't work in any port. The computer recognises it, but then the wizard can't find the software. (It shouldn't need to)

I think someone has disabled something. Not mentioning and names, but Mrs Red.

Can you find any drivers for the mouse online?
