Can't wait for them to fuck it up somehow so the amount of Russian/Eastern European grinders goes down. And all those 40bb guys, so annoying.
Pokerstrategy probably been the worst company around for the overall state of the games.

They gave 50 dollars to millions of people and thus added a tonne to the liquidity pool. They were responsible for a very big boom in Germany and if you look at Russia are responsible for most of the market too. Just looks worse because Russia/Germany are nations of guys who will succeed rather than others.
They offer zero illegal rake back or are responsible for any reg invested rake back grinder genes like every other affiliate.
Being successful doesn't men they've been bad for the state of the games. If you look at the site less than 0.1% of the strategy involves MSS.

Think most people here know your connection but for transparency you should probably state it. Also what is MSS?

MSS is mid stack strategy.
I don't think my position is important its not like I'm saying x is better than y I'm just stating facts.
PokerStrategy pumped a lot of money into the liquidity pool and most/all other affiliates base their models around illegal rake back.
If you actually knew PokerStrategys actual player base it would strongly disagree with Adams statements. Ofc when you have most f the Russian liquidity pool the short stackers re going to be connected and initially trained but a lot of the depositing players will also come via PokerStrategy.
Stuff like the heads up championship, seminars for all levels (beginners/absolute beginners/intermediate) s trying to encourage players to pay and deposit.
D you really think that card runners/deuces cracked bring in new depositing players??? The reason PokerStrategy was so successful was their tell a friend promo where players told ther friends and families and colleagues and they were given 50$ and trained up through the stakes with hand evaluations, seminars and videos. The vast majority of these guys failed and thus PokerStrategy gave a lot to the community. Ofc there are success stories and some negatives but PokerStrategy are far from being one of the bad guys. I don't think anybody even spoke about poker ecology or had a clue what it was before ps and a lot of things have been done behind the scenes at PokerStrategy that will never be spoken about but are v v positive for the ecology.
I guess I should state I'm on the payroll at PokerStrategy but if I didn't agree I would most definitely not say it and they know that as much as anybody.

I was waiting for this Pads, and obviously didn't want to offend you. I think now CR/DC probably worse, but you guys enabled really sick grinders who would have had very little way of becoming as good as they have if it wasn't for the training you give out. There are no Russian videos on DC/CR afaik. This is obviously pretty selfish but I don't have access to the stats which would allow me to change my opinion.
Also, it doesn't matter if the MSS is 0.1% or whatever, it was pioneered afaik at PS and passed out to many people, while short stacking was actively encouraged for many years also. It is completely wrong to say Pokerstrategy does/did not encourage SSS/MSSing for several of the early years. I barely played then but still know this was the case.

This ecology thing is extremely tilting. I see people claim Sky poker "get it" but then they go and offer obscene rake races for long periods which just encourage reg infested games. Btw the vast majority of these Eastern European/Russian players are hardly big depositors. Thats why we see people grinding 25NL or 50NL even 10NL in some cases. Stuff like the heads up championship and the seminars encourage people to deposit, play and get

TBF, I'm facing some real brutal grinding to get SN this year so that makes obscene rake races look a pretty good proposition.

it should have a very big positive impact for ipoker players. the one negative which is obviously a long term positive is that illegal deals should be ggd.
however the guys at pokerstrategy, myself perhaps included will have a lot bigger say in terms of the future of ipoker including its software, vip systems, overall product etc.
ive no idea how long or quick this will take but im pretty confident the changes will be big.
there will likely be a thread or numerous threads on ps in the upcoming weeks-months, or alternatively you can just pm me anything and i can make sure the logical ideas get heard.
