Was browsing BBC website, and came across this...a little old now, but still quite interesting;

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-15391515

Growth at an alarming rate really, for example to go from 2billion to 3 billion took 30years, (1930-1960?) its predicted to go from 7billion to 8billion will take 13 years (2012-2025), and in the space of the 30years, we'll double what was growth in the period 1930s-60s to 2billion growth.

Still we have energy saving light bulbs, so I wouldn't worry to much!

In the UK, 85birth, 66 deaths, and +23 immigrants happen per hour.
Moldova, is actually shrinking as a population!
