Hi experts.

Off to Wales for lunch golf and races today. I am useless at the horses and just bet number 1 every race usually. If anyone has a fancy for tonight let me know.

Cheers

If pushed I would have a flutter on Mutual regard in the 2m. Was running a nice race LTO when got hit over head by another jockeys whip, and then immediately hampered. Would give him another chance at two spades

Lots of lovely royal sentimental names floating about tho, I notice........

Back the horse wearing a visor and a snorkel.

Terrible card.

Stay at the bar IMO.

What a cracking little track Ballinrobe is, if you ever get a chance to goto a meeting then take it.
All new facilities which you can place a bet, goto the Paddock, get a pint, use the Toilet and watch the Race in front of the winning line without walking any further than 100 yards.

Just got back. I think that won although too short for me to bet.

Ffos Las is amazing. What a track! Unfortunately it's in the worst possible location for decent hotels, bars or clubs.

Highlights were Machynys links golf course and us managing to put the remainder of the beer kitty on the last winner at 16/1 which meant we all had a free couple of days.

In the local pub in Llanelli opposite the hotel I bought a round of 5 pints and the barman a drink and passed him £20 thinking he would come back for more cash. He returned with £8 odd change.

Fosters £1.90 a pint wtf? Bacardi £1.40. It's just the cheapest place I have ever been in the UK. Bottle of mineral water in a shop 29 pence. Petrol is 13p a litre less than Bath. Game of pool 30p. £1 in jukebox 8 plays. No wonder everyone is on the piss over there.

Would return if we could find a decent hotel.
