Hang on. We can't be both wayyyyy behind his 4b'ing range and have no idea where we're at. Roll Eyes Cheesy

FWIW, I think AK/AQ for a raise that small is a decent proportion of his range. AA/KK I'd expect to see at least 3,500 to induce a shove.

Indeed we can.  If his range includes say TT+ AQ+, then we might be good vs AK on this board, but you have literally no idea.  You're expecting him to tell you if you're good by his action, or lack there of OTT.  And fwiw, if this is me, when there's that much in the middle already there is no way I'm ever shutting down cause my story checks out.

I would have asked the player to clarify what his bet was rather than sought a ruling. This is why im held in high regard globally

I've heard it announced on the tannoy on more than one occasion that players 'should always state their stake fully' (hundreds thousands etc). Dtd obviously have this come up often and are clear where they stand on it. Nice river btw...

If on the river you pretended to muck your cards, then shoved and offered the dealer a high five, then I think you played it well.

Surely the bet on the river should have been:

"Three...."
