Are there any offers where you get one included in the hire price? We got one chucked in for free last year.

Is that the one that stopped working while I was using it Maureen? Is the sat nav knackered or just the US map bit?

Yes... not sure what is not working. It will not find Satellites so i sent it on a holiday with a work colleague who has a place out there and they couldn't get it to function. So i have given up the ghost on it. That was the Garmin.

I don't know if you have an Iphone or I pad but Nav Free is a very good sat nav that is free. I have the UK one and its decent and I drive every day for my job. There is also a US version.
I've just seen that android have the same app also.
You can pay a quid or something to get rid of ads, but its not necessary really, still works ok.

Do you have something to download the £29 map to? If so, get that and bill me for it.

We just booked a car in America and they want £65 for a sat nav. I can download the USA on to a £5 memory card for £35. Just looked at Woodsey's idea, looks spot on. Called Nav Free USA. Joo downloading it right now.
